I converted the painted headlights on my WRX back to clear. This required using an LED turn signal bulb that looks clear but flashes yellow. This along with clear side markers give the car a beautiful clear-silver appearance. |
| Using LEDs for turn signal bulbs causes "hyper" blinker. I made this diagram to show how to wire resistors into the WRX turn signal wiring to simulate a normal bulb which allows the LED bulb to flash normally. | ![]() |

I painted the headlights on my WRX black. This kept the orange turn signal bulb cover but painted the lower half of it. It gives the car a mean, aggressive look. |
