Clear LED Turn Signal Bulbs

I converted the painted headlights on my WRX back to clear. This required using an LED turn signal bulb that looks clear but flashes yellow. This along with clear side markers give the car a beautiful clear-silver appearance.

Using LEDs for turn signal bulbs causes "hyper" blinker. I made this diagram to show how to wire resistors into the WRX turn signal wiring to simulate a normal bulb which allows the LED bulb to flash normally.

EGT Probe Mounting

This is the driver's side manifold (cylinders 2 and 4) where I had my EGT sensor bung welded.

Subdued Headlights

I painted the headlights on my WRX black. This kept the orange turn signal bulb cover but painted the lower half of it. It gives the car a mean, aggressive look.

Here you can see the 3 pieces of the headlight assemblies. The center gets painted.

Here are both right and left headlight center sections painted. You can also see the orange turn signal bulb covers that I painted the bottoms of.
